All right, I confess, I was ready to write Ode in Defense of the Older Man. Fact is, though, being an asshole knows no age limits. A friend's uncle once said: Some people have 30 years of experience, and some have 1 year of experience 30 years in a row. A young man has little experience to learn from, but many older men are no better. But a few are, just as a few younger men are wise beyond their years.
Persevere, you'll find a good one.
Sometimes the philosophy behind throwing rocks at boys makes a lot of sense to me. Or at least poking them with a cattle prod from time to time. A woman must adjust to using the implements at hand.
